Introduction to Adobe FrameMaker 8.0 will be taught by our own Betsy Maaks, STC Fellow, on November 8, in Lisle.
Betsy knows FrameMaker very well and she knows the in's and out's of using it. She enjoys presenting her knowledge to other technical communicators. If you or one of your co-workers could use a good one-day introduction to the software, then this would be the workshop to take.
It will be held at National-Louis University in Lisle, from 9 am to 3 pm.
The advanced registration rate is $89 Tuesday, November 4, 8 p.m. After that, the rate is $99. Take advantage of the lower price!

Each year, STC Chicago awards scholarships, in the amount of $500 each, to two students in technical communications programs. The purpose of the scholarships, which are granted toward tuition and expenses, is to help recipients continue their education in the field of technical communication.
The deadline for submitting your application and its supporting materials is November 30th, 2007. Scholarship recipients will be announced in March 2008.
